As a Senior Account Executive in the Partnerships team, you will be based in New York and manage sponsorship and experiential marketing initiatives for a key client in the financial services category. You will lead the strategic development and activation of client sponsorships and events, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables are within budget. You will partner with internal divisions, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure activities meet brand standards. You will also create client-ready materials, brief creative staff, and collaborate with other team members. The role requires an understanding of integrated marketing programs.

  • 3-5 years of agency or client-based account management experience.
  • Experience working with sports and/or entertainment properties.
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects.

The Role and What You’ll Do:

As an integrated company, 160over90 sits at the forefront of cultural influence to effectively connect brands with consumers’ passions.  Under Global Marketing, the Partnerships team is comprised of subject matter experts around the world helping clients create, negotiate, activate and evaluate integrated marketing programs.

Based in New York this Senior Account Executive position will be part of a dedicated agency team responsible for managing sponsorship and experiential marketing initiatives for a key client in the financial services category.

  • Assist in leading the strategic development and activation of client’s sponsorships and events
  • Develop detailed project plans for assigned events, and manage timelines to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met and within budget
  • Partner with internal divisions, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors as needed in the execution of events to ensure activities and services meet protocol and brand standards
  • Interface with other account team members, client(s) and all appropriate agencies and partner properties on a daily basis to coordinate all fulfillment aspects of assigned programs and events
  • Create and maintain client-ready materials, such as POVs, recommendations, and activation plans Collaborate with internal creative staff to brief necessary projects and ensure high quality, on-time deliverables

You Have These: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant agency, team, or client-based account management experience
  • Experience working on and/or with sports and/or entertainment properties
  • Participation in the selection, negotiation, and evaluation of successful sponsorship programs
  • Proven ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and to problem-solve independently and in groups
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with client management experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time (including weekend events)
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.


Hiring Range Minimum:

$60,406 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$72,500 annually
