This role is crucial for building high-performing teams by finding and attracting top talent in game development. The specialist will lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior and leadership positions across various departments, manage 10-15 active roles concurrently, and develop sourcing strategies for CIS, Europe, and remote markets. Responsibilities include engaging candidates through diverse channels, ensuring a positive candidate experience, partnering with hiring managers, contributing to employer branding, and tracking hiring metrics to optimize processes. The position requires 4+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 in game development or tech.

About Cubic Games

Cubic Games is a development studio within the GDEV holding. We've grown from a small team into a leading game studio with over 120 specialists. Our mission is to create unique pixel-style games, including the popular Pixel Gun 3D, with over 5 million monthly active players.

We are currently working on a new project — Pixel Gun 2, a cross-platform PvP arena shooter.

As our team continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us find and attract the best talent in game development. This is a key role where you’ll partner directly with hiring managers and contribute to building high-performing teams across multiple disciplines.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for mid-to-senior and leadership roles across Game Design, Art, Product, LiveOps, Analytics, and more

  • Manage 10–15 active positions simultaneously

  • Build and execute sourcing strategies across CIS, Europe, and remote markets

  • Proactively identify and engage candidates through LinkedIn, GitHub, ArtStation, niche communities, events, and referrals

  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience and effective pipeline management via ATS

  • Collaborate with hiring managers as a trusted recruitment partner

  • Contribute to employer branding through events, content creation, and social campaigns

  • Track key hiring metrics and continuously improve recruitment processes

 

Requirements

  • 4+ years in recruitment, including at least 2 years in game development or tech

  • Strong sourcing skills (Boolean, X-ray, advanced LinkedIn search, etc.)

  • Experience managing multiple vacancies across various roles and departments

  • Solid understanding of game development roles and pipelines

  • Excellent communication and interview skills

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS (e.g. Recruitee), Notion, Google Sheets, Huntflow

  • Experience in simultaneously managing 8-10 vacancies and filling 4 vacancies per month (senior/lead/head)

  • Experience in managing C-level vacancies

  • Executive search experience

  • Knowledge of modern AI technologies for sourcing

  • Russian — upper-intermediate or higher

Nice to have

  • Experience hiring globally and/or via EOR platforms

  • Background in employer branding, content, or community hiring

  • Ability to analyze and optimize recruitment data and KPIs
