The Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for hiring world-class talent to bring seagliders into reality. The role involves partnering with engineering and operations leaders to source, engage, and close top-tier candidates across a range of technical functions, and owning full-cycle recruiting for various high-priority technical roles. The recruiter will build and manage strong candidate pipelines, conduct initial screening calls, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. They should continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and employer brand as the company scales.

Capable of 180 miles at 180 mph on today's battery tech (and up to 400 miles with next-gen batteries), seagliders will unlock fast, affordable, and sustainable coastal transit for passengers and cargo - connecting cities, islands, and communities like never before.

Role Overview:


We’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to help us hire the world-class talent that will bring our seagliders into reality. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering and operations leaders to source, engage, and close top-tier candidates across a range of technical functions. This is a high-impact role that combines strategy, execution, and storytelling - and it's a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven company at a pivotal stage of growth.

🔧 What You’ll Do
  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand technical roles and hiring needs across engineering, manufacturing, and operations
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of high-priority technical roles (hardware, software, systems, manufacturing engineering, and more)
  • Build and manage strong candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, outreach, referrals, and events
  • Conduct initial screening calls to evaluate candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit, ensuring they align with the specific needs of each role
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to final offer
  • Continuously improve our recruiting processes, tools, and employer brand as we scale


🔍 What We're Looking For
  • Extensive full-cycle technical recruiting experience in fast-paced environments (startup, growth-stage, or hardware strongly preferred); bonus points for previous work in zero-to-one or early-stage startup recruiting
  • Proven success hiring for hard-to-fill roles across engineering disciplines, especially in aerospace, automotive, hardware, or manufacturing
  • Excellent sourcing skills and comfort using modern tools 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities - with candidates, hiring managers, and teammates
  • A proactive, resourceful mindset with the ability to work autonomously and move quickly
  • Passion for building teams and being part of an ambitious, mission-driven organization
