Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing financial operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. Your responsibilities include assisting with financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. You will prepare financial statements, ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, book journal entries, collaborate on global compliance, support audit processes, perform month-end and year-end close processes, and analyze financial data. This role works closely with the Manager, GL Accounting and other Senior/Staff Accountants to meet department timelines and goals.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in large ERP systems (Great Plains, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
Good to have:
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Technology industry experience preferred.

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in performing financial operations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and maintaining integrity of the general ledger. You will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. This position works closely with the Manager, GL Accounting and other Senior/Staff Accountants to meet department timelines and goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the assigned region in compliance with US GAAP and company policies.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Booking monthly journal entries related to confidential or complex transactions including payroll.
  • Collaborate cross departmentally regarding global compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and transfer pricing documentation.
  • Contribute to monthly analysis performed to support financial package reporting.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile ledger accounts and intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor and implement compliance with financial regulations and policies.
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risks.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred
  • 3-7 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and local financial regulations
  • Proficiency in large ERP systems (Great Plains, Oracle, Essbase, and Workday)
  • Strong analytical, multi-tasking, communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office applications including Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Technology industry experience preferred
