Job Description

The Account Executive, Sourcing role is responsible for customer service and product delivery by constantly liaising with clients and suppliers on print and campaign management services. The primary focus is to deliver exceptional customer service, process quotation requests promptly, and update clients on work progress. This role involves selecting appropriate suppliers, negotiating costs and timelines, managing benchmark information, and ensuring adherence to internal procedures. Orders will be processed efficiently. This is a 3-month assignment from August 4, 2025, to November 28, 2025. Duties include understanding litho print processes, advising on suitable equipment and suppliers, optimizing formats for cost-effectiveness, providing technical input, negotiating, procuring print, managing production briefs, creating detailed specifications, tracking projects, adhering to ordering and billing processes, and working within the operating budget. The role also involves understanding the client's business, building client and supplier relationships, staying updated on industry technology, resolving issues, and implementing best practices.

Job Details

The Account Executive, Sourcing is responsible for customer service and product delivery through constant liaison with clients and suppliers on all matters relating to print and campaign management services. The primary focus of this role will be to deliver exceptional customer services. Requests for quotations will be processed in a responsive manner and clients will be updated regularly on the progress of their work. The Account Executive, Sourcing will, in conjunction with the central procurement team, select the most appropriate supplier, negotiate costing and time-scales for each job, manage benchmark information and ensure that internal procedures are followed at all times. Orders will be processed in the most efficient manner available.  THIS IS A 3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT – WILL APPROXIMATELY GO FROM AUGUST 4, 2025 THROUGH NOVEMBER 28, 2025
 

Job Duties
(* denotes essential function)
 

  • *Full understanding of litho (sheet/web) print process, advising on most suitable equipment and suppliers for all print jobs
  • *Advise on economic formats, work with clients and vendors to derive cost effective and fit for print projects
  • *Provide technical input and advice on print projects as required
  • *Project relevant negotiations as and where needed
  • *Procurement of print, delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targets
  • *Take accurate information from our Clients, formulating full production briefs
  • *Produce detailed print specifications to suppliers
  • *Maintain tracking of all projects in procurement tool
  • *Adhere to defined ordering authorization and billing process
  • *Work within Tag's operating budget
  • *Develop a good understanding of the client's business and industry sector
  • *Build relationships with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations
  • *Develop strong relationships with suppliers
  • *Demonstrate an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the client
  • *Resolve client/supplier issues, escalate where appropriate
  • *Implement and use best practice principles

Job Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor's Degree. A combination of education and work experience can be substituted.
  • 2+ years previous experience in a similar print procurement or print management environment
  • Experience in managing a budget and achieving targets
  • Experience negotiating pricing
  • Excellent client facing and customer service skills, with an ability to build relationships and develop new business
  • Commercially strong and numerate
  • Committed, resilient and prepared to work extra hours as required
  • Experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing. Can manage change, and keep a clear perspective of end goals
  • Team worker, with positive outlook who can inspire and motivates peers
  • Focus on project management, timely delivery and achievement of Key Performance Indicators
  • Intermediate skill level with MS Office
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail

WORKING CONDITIONS
 

The salary range for this position is $50k minimum - $73k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
