Job Description

Workato is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join their team in Germany. The role involves developing and leading relationships with leading startups, scale-ups, and innovative companies across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Responsibilities include managing the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, driving new relationships within strategic accounts, and holding peer-level conversations with C-suite executives. The ideal candidate will be a company builder, sharing best practices back into the organization. Workato is recognized as a leader in enterprise orchestration, transforming technology complexity into business opportunity.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in complex solution sales (SaaS)
  • Experience handling relationships with fast-growing companies
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota
  • MEDDPICC or similar sales framework experience
  • Team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to build something new

Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team in Germany.

In this role, you will develop and lead relationships and engagements with leading Start Up’s,  Scale Up’s and innovative Companies across Germany, Austria and Swiss region. You will be working with a successful team in the market that includes SDRs, Marketing, Consulting and Partner Management which will give you a platform for success.

In this role, you will also be responsible to:

  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close
  • Drive new relationships in well targeted and considered strategic accounts.
  • Hold peer-level conversations with C-suite executives.
  • Be a company builder. 
  • Share best practices back into the organization

Requirements

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a full cycle, closing role in Complex Solution Sales, SAAS
  • Experience handling and owning relationships with fast growing and innovative companies
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota
  • MEDDPICC or similar Sales Framework experience

Soft Skills / Personal Characteristics

  • An enthusiastic team player who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • A desire to build something new that can change the world, versus fitting neatly into a large company with an established static playbook
