Job Description

As a Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share across Southeast Asia, focusing on the adoption of solutions and services with travel agencies. This involves partnering with local joint ventures to execute Sabre’s regional strategy and developing tailored commercial plans, along with direct people management of a small team and requires strong collaboration across cross-functional teams. You will lead commercial strategy, manage relationships with local JV partners, develop growth strategies, lead a sales team, collaborate with various teams, and monitor sales performance.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in travel technology or related sales.
  • Proven track record in account management and commercial planning.
  • Experience navigating joint venture partnerships in Asia.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Business level fluency in English and Bahasa.

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results driven Manager in Sales & Account Management to join our global Agency Sales team, where innovation knows no borders. This team leads with impact— Supporting travel agencies by providing booking solutions and insights to grow their business, strengthening partnerships and expanding Sabre’s presence. As a Manager in Sales & Account Management, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share across Southeast Asia, focusing on adoption of our solutions and services with travel agencies including TMCs and OTAs. You will partner with local joint ventures to execute Sabre’s regional strategy and develop tailored commercial plans. This role also includes direct people management of a small team and requires strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Sabre’s commercial strategy with agency customers in Southeast Asia, including TMCs and OTAs.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with local JV partners to enable scalable market growth. Serve as the primary point of contact for partner communications, negotiations, and escalations.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to expand adoption of Sabre’s agency distribution solutions and services.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on partner markets within the Southeast Asia region. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to sales representatives to help them achieve their targets and drive results.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing and technology teams to deliver solutions that drive customer success.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including revenue, sales pipeline, conversion rates, and market share. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in emerging markets within the EMEA region. Utilize market intelligence to identify opportunities and threats and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and education requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in travel technology, airline distribution, SaaS or agency sales.
  • Proven track record in strategic account management, commercial planning and regional growth execution.
  • Experience navigating joint venture partnerships or multi-stakeholder environments in Asia.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing or mentoring team members.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills across cultural and organizational contexts.
  • Business level fluency in English and Bahasa. Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
