Job Description

As the Talent Management Specialist (Engagement & Recognition) at CAE, you will contribute to the design and delivery of people and talent management practices that impact the employee experience and their engagement. You will lead Workday Peakon initiatives, coach leaders, and drive recognition program transformations. Your role involves identifying engagement improvement opportunities through internal diagnosis and external research, and overseeing the implementation of procedures that enhance employee engagement.
Must have:
  • Leading Workday Peakon employee engagement initiatives, including coaching leaders to leverage the system accordingly
  • Initiate transformation program in Recognition, working with HRBPs and line managers to align recognition programs with the organization's overall talent strategy and business goals.
  • To identify opportunities for employee engagement improvement through, for example, undertaking internal diagnosis, process/system reviews in order to understand barriers and possible solutions; conducting external research into good practice and new ideas.
  • Create and oversee the implementation of the procedures that support and enhance employee engagement as per the company’s objectives

The role we are offering you:

As the Talent Management Specialist (Engagement & Recognition) at CAE, you will contribute to the design and delivery of people and talent management practices that impact the employee experience of employees and their engagement, providing information, advice and services as required.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Leading Workday Peakon employee engagement initiatives, including coaching leaders to leverage the system accordingly
  • Initiate transformation program in Recognition, working with HRBPs and line managers to align recognition programs with the organization's overall talent strategy and business goals.
  • To identify opportunities for employee engagement improvement through, for example, undertaking internal diagnosis, process/system reviews in order to understand barriers and possible solutions; conducting external research into good practice and new ideas.
  • Create and oversee the implementation of the procedures that support and enhance employee engagement as per the company’s objectives

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Five to eight years of experience working in organizational development for operations in a large organizational and/or functional business unit.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employee engagement and recognition tools and strategy Demonstrated ability to design and implement successful talent engagement and recognition programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with engagement and recognition platforms is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage diverse projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills and good team spirit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Being bilingual is a plus.
