Hogarth Spain is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advertising Scientific Consultant to join our dynamic, global, fast-paced, and diverse team. In this role, you will leverage your robust scientific background and strategic expertise to deliver insightful content recommendations and meticulously dissect complex scientific information for accuracy, clarity, and strategic alignment. You will be a key contributor to developing compelling content strategies and ensuring all scientific materials adhere to medico-legal regulations and compliance standards. You will also provide expert guidance to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative content strategies that effectively communicate complex scientific information to target audiences.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for content creation, optimization, and distribution based on scientific insights and market trends.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage scientific data to enhance the impact and effectiveness of advertising campaigns in different countries (Spain & France as main markets).
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure scientific accuracy and relevance in all advertising materials.
  • Meticulously review and dissect complex scientific information, including research papers, clinical trial data, and regulatory documents.
  • Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and strategic alignment of scientific content across all advertising channels.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities related to scientific claims and messaging.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of medico-legal regulations and compliance standards related to advertising and scientific communication.
  • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to address any compliance concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and guidelines and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance to internal and external stakeholders on scientific matters related to advertising.
  • Serve as a scientific resource for marketing, creative, and sales teams.
  • Present scientific information in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences.
  • Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders and scientific experts.
  • Evaluate existing scientific materials for accuracy, clarity, and strategic alignment.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for revisions.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of scientific content in the advertising landscape.
  • Track and analyze the performance of scientific content and provide insights for optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Medicine) required. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, such as a scientific consultant, medical writer, or scientific communications specialist, within the advertising, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry.
  • Deep understanding of scientific principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear and concise language.
  • Strong knowledge of medico-legal regulations and compliance standards related to advertising. Especially in Spain, France but also in the European market.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective content strategies.
  • Experience working with marketing and creative teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Experience with regulatory submissions is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • English native language is a must
