Job Description

This Business Development Manager role focuses on providing audio recording services to clients using Side's in-house studio. Key responsibilities include market development, identifying target customers, and researching industry trends in game audio recording. The role involves defining service requirements, preparing proposals, and closing deals, primarily with Japanese game companies but expanding to other industries. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with global group companies and lead the planning and development of new businesses and services, from market research to launch.
Must have:
  • Over 5 years of sales experience in audio recording or client relations, or experience as a production manager in audio recording
  • Knowledge of player/customer support management
  • High communication skills
  • Ability to proactively seek new projects, set appointments, propose services, and close deals with minimal support
  • Basic CRM and PC knowledge (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to act proactively and responsibly regarding budget
  • Love for games
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with games, or sales experience in the entertainment industry
  • Contact network in the game industry
  • Team coordination and team building experience
  • Business level English proficiency (TOEIC 750+ is a guideline)

Description

Point of contact for audio recording.

  • Provide audio recording services using our in-house studio to clients.

Specifically:

■ Market Development

  • Research customer/competitor/new technology service trends in domestic and international game audio recording.
  • Plan and lead the execution of sales promotion strategies/measures for specific services or customer groups.
  • Identify target customers.

■ Service Requirements Definition and Proposal

  • Interview clients and identify service requirements.
  • Conduct proposal activities for clients (presentations, quotes, etc.) and close deals to secure projects.
  • While interactions are primarily with Japanese game companies, approaches will expand beyond the game industry in the future.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international group companies and locations to finalize service details based on interview content.

■ New Business/Service Planning and Development

  • Plan and develop new businesses/services (leading market research/FS/business plan formulation/launch).

Requirements
