We are now looking to expand the team with a Key Account Manager for the DACH region based in Munich to chase the dream with us.

The essence of the role

As our new Key Account Manager, you will turn clients into fans by ensuring strategic and high-quality approach that aligns with the clients' business goals. Your role involves building and nurturing strong relationships, and consistently exceeding their expectations through proactive and tailored solutions. Your primary responsibility is account development and growth.

You will report to the Regional Director DACH based in Munich.

As Key Account Manager DACH, you will:

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, profitability, and growth
  • Work across a variety of project and programs, including those related to messaging, digital advertising, email marketing, contact center and other CRM solutions
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to facilitate product expansion and drive cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, fostering proactive and enduring relationship with clients
  • Handle renewals, negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize the offering
  • Regularly meet clients, attend industry relevant events, and monitor market trends to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineers, Project and Product Managers, Support teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure a seamless client experience
  • Maintain and update internal CRM systems, providing accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management.
  • Work closely with the team, share insights and best practice to support overall business growth

Who are you?

For this position we are looking for an Account Manager with experience of working in the DACH region, who is customer-oriented with a proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with high-level decision-makers.

In order to be successful in this role, we believe you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, telecommunications or related field
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years of key account management or sales, preferably within relevant industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to conceptualize the technical and commercial values of our offering. 
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently
  • It is an advantage to have experience within the field of Mobile Marketing / Messaging (SMS A2P, Rich SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, etc.) or in a related field (emailing, online advertising, mobile applications, etc.).
  • Fluency in German and English is required
  • Willingness to travel on demand
