At Coupa, we know that people are the heart of our success. As our business grows and evolves, we’re investing in the development of our HR Business Partner function to drive alignment between our people strategy and business goals. We’re seeking a motivated and collaborative HR Business Partner to join our team and support our Corporate business functions.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional—ideally with 5+ years in generalist, specialist, or HRBP support roles—who is ready to take the next step in shaping strategic talent initiatives and enhancing the employee experience.
Reporting to the Director, HRBP, the HR Business Partner will partner with leaders across multiple corporate teams to support business needs and implement core HR programs. You’ll play a key role in day-to-day people operations, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
This is a hands-on role that offers growth, visibility, and the chance to work in a fast-paced, people-first environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Partner with HRBP Director to provide HR support across Legal, Finance, IT, Marketing, and other corporate functions.
- Contribute to HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, talent reviews, compensation planning, and internal mobility.
- Assist with organizational changes and ensure consistency in people-related practices across teams.
- Leverage HR data and trends to drive informed decision-making and improve team effectiveness.
- Support employee experience through collaboration with HR Centers of Excellence and offering proactive solutions to maintain organizational health.
What you will bring to Coupa:
- 4+ years of HR experience, preferably in HRBP, generalist, or specialist roles within fast-paced, matrixed tech companies.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and talent strategy.
- Proven ability to build relationships with managers and employees, offering practical, data-driven support.
- Proficient in HRIS platforms (Dayforce, Workday), Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace, with experience in additional systems a plus.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities, navigate change, and maintain high integrity and discretion.
