Job Description

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for researching and prospecting into organizations through various means to generate early-stage pipelines, scheduling qualified appointments with key decision-makers, and collaborating with sales and sales engineering teams. The role involves researching customers, identifying decision-makers, educating prospects, and qualifying buying interest. The representative will also use a CRM to maintain accurate customer and prospect information. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and demonstrate an aptitude for technology, and will also work to create a secure cloud-enabled digital future.
Must have:

We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team in London. Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Researching and prospecting into organisations by email, calling, networking, and creative means to guide early-stage pipelines
  • Penetrating, profiling, qualifying, and scheduling well-qualified appointments with key decision-makers within global 2000 or "targeted" companies
  • Working closely with sales and sales engineering teams in the development of strategic sales approaches
  • Researching customers, identifying decision-makers, educating prospects, and qualifying buying interest
  • Using a CRM to maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 1 year of experience working in sales, or a similar position
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for technology

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working at a security, SaaS, or software company
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related area
  • Proven capabilities and skills in account development, opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call structure/control, and time and territory management
