Paytm, a leading mobile payments and financial services company in India, is seeking an Area Sales Manager for its EDC Retail division in Kozhikode. The role involves increasing sales of EDC machines to merchants, driving merchant engagement, and building and managing a sales team. Key responsibilities include setting team goals, overseeing operations, monitoring performance, motivating team members, and identifying training needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in team handling, cold calling, pre-sales, lead generation, and possess strong communication and negotiation skills. A graduate degree is required, and experience in building teams and driving sales through various channels is essential.
