Job Description

Bito is seeking a Customer Success Manager to own the health and success of their customers and developers. The role involves developing a customer success playbook, being the primary point of contact, understanding customer needs, and providing technical guidance. Responsibilities also include supporting sales, managing renewals, driving product adoption, and engaging with the developer community. The ideal candidate will be data-informed, adaptable, and passionate about AI software and developer enablement. The role requires a proactive approach and a deep understanding of developer tooling and customer engagement strategies. The candidate should also be able to represent the company in developer communities.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of customer/developer success experience.
  • 1+ years engineering experience with programming languages.
  • Keen interest/experience within AI.

Job Details

Bito believes software development will change dramatically over the next 5-10 years, driven by the incredible capabilities of Generative AI. Software developers will become 10-20 times more productive, and the amount of new software built in the world will increase dramatically.But this puts a huge burden on processes such as code review, testing, and build management, and demands totally new approaches.   Bito aims to be a leader in the GenAI tools that will enable this transformation.

Over 100,000 developers already use Bito’s tools every month. Bito’s AI Code Review Agent enables high quality AI code reviews that cut down human engineering time in pull requests by 50%.  

Our founders have previously started, built, and taken a company public (NASDAQ: PUBM), worth well over US$1B. We are looking to take our learnings, learn a lot along with you, and do something more exciting this time. This journey will be incredibly rewarding and incredibly difficult!

We are building this company with a hybrid working approach (3 days a week in the office), with our main teams for time zone management in San Francisco Bay Area (United States) and in Pune (India). The founders are based in the Bay Area and in Bangalore.

You care about developers and their customer experience. You care about your audience and you care about how great customer engagement and planning can make a difference. You are data informed, nimble, and a self-starter. You can be a jack-of-all-trades as needed and have an instinct for self-prioritization. Hopefully, you love AI software. Responsibilities:
Own the health and success of our customers and developers
Develop a developer and customer success playbook
Be the first and primary point of contact for customers, including technical support
Understand customers’ developer tooling needs and business goals, then help them understand how Bito can help them achieve their goals
Provide API, documentation, and product guidance to technical audiences such as software developers, technical executives, and founders
Support our “developer-first” sales, manage successful renewals, and drive product expansions
Work closely as part of Bito’s go-to-market team to drive adoption, onboarding, value realization, and retention for customers
Speak and write for a developer audience, submit talks, write blog posts, and represent Bito at hackathons and conferences
Engage with, learn from, and support Bito’s growing community of developers and AI enthusiasts
Become a trusted voice and advocate in the world of AI developer enablement

Requirements:
You love helping people work with complicated tooling
3+ years of customer or developer success experience at a SaaS company
1+ years engineering experience with multiple programming languages
Keen interest or direct experience within AI  
Skilled at measuring and increasing customer NPS, adoption, and retention
Intimate familiarity with developer documentation, communities, and hackathons
Familiarity with AI technology stacks and CI/CD
Familiarity with running or helping to run a community online
