As IT-Operations Lead, you will play a pivotal role in transforming and elevating our internal IT landscape. You will drive the centralization and standardization of IT processes, streamline operations, and ensure that our technology environment not only supports but actively enhances the productivity and security of our global teams. This is a unique opportunity to shape how IT is delivered at a growing, international tech company, working hands-on with Google Workspace, Atlassian, AI, other modern SaaS tools, and automation. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, lead process improvement initiatives, and the security team. Your expertise will be instrumental in building a scalable, secure, and future-proof IT foundation that supports Truecaller’s continued growth and innovation.
The impact you will create:
- End-User Support – provide IT support for employees using Windows, macOS, and Linux systems on both PCs and Macs.
- New Employee Onboarding – set up and configure laptops, user accounts, and system access for new hires, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
- Lead the design, documentation, and implementation of IT processes and best practices to centralize and streamline internal IT operations.
- Own the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of Google Workspace, Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence), and other core SaaS platforms.
- Collaborate with business units to identify needs, gather feedback, and deliver IT solutions that drive organizational efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across all IT operations.
- Mentor and support IT staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Manage IT projects, including timelines, resources, budgets, and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and systems.
- Proactively evaluate and introduce new technologies and tools to enhance the IT environment and support business goals.
What you bring in:
- 5+ years of experience in IT administration, operations, or similar senior technical roles.
- Deep expertise in Google Workspace and Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) administration and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS/cloud-based IT infrastructure and modern workplace technologies (e.g., SSO, MDM, endpoint management).
- Proven experience designing and implementing IT processes, policies, and documentation.
- Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and data privacy principles.
- Experience managing IT projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
- Advanced troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience with automation, scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python), and process automation tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud security best practices.
- Exposure to DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, or other IT service management frameworks.
- Experience with endpoint management, MDM solutions, and identity/access management.
- Previous experience in a fast-growing tech or SaaS company.
