Xsolla is seeking a Sr. Ad Sales Director to lead the charge in expanding our advertising revenue channels. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities with performance advertisers, brands, agencies, networks, and demand partners within all verticals.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record in advertising performance sales , demonstrates a growth mindset , thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is deeply passionate about the convergence of gaming, advertising, and technology. Multilingual capabilities and a background In AdTech or digital advertising platforms are highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive revenue growth by selling Xsolla's advertising products and solutions to performance advertisers, agencies, and brand partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across the advertising ecosystem.
- Identify and close high-value strategic advertising partnerships that align with the Xsolla Ads teams’ long-term vision.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc.) to build scalable sales strategies and go-to-market plans.
- Analyze campaign performance, provide insights, and ensure the consistent delivery of value to clients.
- Represent Xsolla Ads at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to evangelize our growing list of advertising solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a proven record of closing performance-driven campaigns.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising, performance marketing, and KPIs such as CPI, CPA, ROAS, Retention metrics, and LTV.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a collaborative team player.
- Highly organized, hard-working, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Passion for games, digital entertainment, and emerging advertising technologies.
Preferred:
- Experience working with or selling AdTech platforms (e.g., Rewarded advertising, Adtech, experience with MMPs and measurement providers).
- Existing network of advertising decision-makers in the gaming, tech, or entertainment space.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a significant plus (especially Spanish, Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin).
- Prior experience in global markets and/or cross-border advertising sales.
