Job title: Supplier Account Manager
Your role:

Be responsible for tracking supplier performance using advanced systems like the Global Supplier Rating System (GSRS), incorporating feedback from cross-functional stakeholders for comprehensive evaluations, working under limited supervision.

The role monitors supplier collaboration projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster strong partnerships.

The role conducts comprehensive assessments of critical supplier parameters, including risk and compliance to develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity.

The role drives strategic supplier relationships within designated categories, aligning supplier strategies with business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Tracks supplier performance scorecards using advanced systems like the Global Supplier Rating System (GSRS), incorporating feedback from cross-functional stakeholders for comprehensive evaluations, working under limited supervision.

• Monitors projects executed in collaboration with suppliers, encourages competition in the supply base to secure a healthy balance between suppliers to foster cost and feature innovation.

• Conducts comprehensive assessments to evaluate critical supplier parameters, including risk, regulatory compliance, and financial exposure, and develop corresponding mitigation and contingency plans to ensure business continuity.

• Takes ownership of global supplier relationships within designated categories, driving strategic impact through the development of tailored supplier strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Develops a deep understanding of supplier business relationships, market positioning, and investment themes to inform effective alignment of supplier strategies with organizational goals.

• Seeks opportunities to drive bottom and top-line impact through strategic supplier management, leveraging supplier capabilities to enhance organizational performance.

• Takes charge of compliance, contract management, and risk mitigation efforts related to supplier relationships, implementing robust measures to uphold standards and minimize risk exposure, manages supplier relationships to maximize value creation opportunities.

• Sets high standards for supplier quality and actively pursue initiatives for continuous improvement, implementing clear action plans to drive enhancements and ensure consistent performance.

• Advocates for the organization wise adoption of LEAN methodologies among suppliers to drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings and foster collaborative innovation.

• Fosters collaboration and information sharing among cross-functional teams to enhance supplier performance and achieve organizational objectives, serving as a conduit for effective communication and alignment.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent.

  • Work Experience Minimum 5 years of experience in areas such as Order Management, Logistics, Process Improvement, Business Administration or equivalent
