In this role, you’ll join a dynamic Technology team where you’ll lead the development of scalable, service-oriented backend systems and help shape the future of the platform. The hybrid setup requires onsite presence one day per week (Wednesdays preferred, but flexible).
Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities:
Lead the development and testing of backend systems and services.
Contribute to shaping the system architecture and technical strategy.
Translate product requirements into well-structured user stories and technical solutions.
Deliver scalable and highly available production services.
Mentor other engineers and help strengthen the technical culture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project leads and product managers.
Propose new initiatives and drive technical innovation.
Senior Software Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
4+ years of programming experience in modern technology stacks.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
Experience with Spring, PostgreSQL, React, and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of relational databases and ORM tools.
Prior experience with microservices or SOA architecture.
Proactive and collaborative approach to solving technical challenges.
Excellent problem-solving and project ownership skills.
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern development practices.
Interest in personal finance or investing (preferred).
Experience scaling mission-critical systems (preferred).
Full-stack exposure: backend systems (Kafka, Docker, POSIX), databases (PostgreSQL), or frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) (preferred).
