Job Description

The Technical Account Specialist will support customers in adopting and optimizing their software, specifically InfoWorks ICM. They will engage with customers to ensure efficient and effective use of Autodesk Water solutions, from both IT and engineering perspectives. The role involves proactive customer outreach to discuss workflows and provide value, as well as reacting to support requests beyond traditional case handling. Key responsibilities include delivering expert coaching, providing proactive support, establishing customer relationships, identifying improvements to self-served materials, demonstrating product expertise, providing technical assistance based on data analytics, and collaborating with various internal teams. The role also involves working closely with existing accounts across the EMEA region and developing knowledge across the Autodesk Water portfolio.
Must have:
  • Expert knowledge in InfoWorks ICM in a commercial environment.
  • 7+ years of Storm/Sewer/Flood Analysis experience.
  • Experience with cloud environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Engineering or Science subject or equivalent experience
Good to have:
  • Additional expertise in InfoDrainage (MicroDrainage) and/or InfoAsset Manager
  • Technical consulting experience and or technical project delivery experience with large, demanding customers
  • Experience with scripting, particularly Ruby.
  • Understanding of ICMLive.
  • Fluency in English, any additional languages such as Spanish are a plus
  • Knowledge of the water industry in the EMEA region

Position Overview

We are seeking an expert in InfoWorks ICM to support our customers in adopting and optimizing their software. You will engage with new and existing customers to ensure they are using Autodesk Water solutions, as efficiently and effectively as possible, from both an IT and engineering perspective.  You will use your in-depth experience to enable, support and guide our customers throughout their water projects. This is a proactive role where you will reach out to customers to arrange meetings and webinars to discuss their workflows and thereby add value to their work.  You will also react to requests for support which go beyond traditional case handling.

We value hybrid working, and if you live near enough to one of our offices you are welcome to work there some or all of the time, but remote working is also supported. You will report to the account services manager, customer success – emerging business.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and deliver expert coaching to Autodesk Water customers to drive customer adoption, which could include:
  • Model building and import from other model types.
  • Calibration or verification against observed data.
  • Model application.
  • IT strategy, whether this is use of the Autodesk Cloud, or their own Cloud or in-house system.
  • You will deliver proactive support and professional, customized product services that help our customers achieve their business goals while maximizing the use and adoption of Autodesk solutions
  • You will establish and maintain working relationships with customers as a technical trusted advisor, activities including customer interactions, webinars, conferences, and customer events.
  • You will identify and improve self-served material to drive better adoption of our tools.
  • You will demonstrate thought leadership and product expertise internally to help drive the product portfolio and work collaboratively with the customer success team, sales, product, and strategy teams.  
  • You will provide technical assistance and recommendations for customers based on data analytics. 
  • You will work closely with existing accounts across the EMEA region.
  • You will join the Emerging Business Customer Success (EBCS) organization, a team that values professional development and rewards high performance. EBCS is responsible for maximizing the success, and return on investment for our customers.
  • You will be encouraged to develop your knowledge across the Autodesk Water portfolio, particularly in the area of asset management.

Minimum qualifications

  • You have expert knowledge in InfoWorks ICM, in a commercial environment with recent industry experience.
  • 7+ years of Storm/Sewer/Flood Analysis experience 
  • Experience with cloud environments
