Summary

This role requires a Senior Front-end Design Engineer with Drupal expertise. Responsibilities include maintaining project quality and timelines, delegating tasks, identifying and solving issues, mentoring team members, handling client relations, participating in requirement gathering, ensuring documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders. The engineer will independently perform design configuration, code customization, refactoring, and reviews. They will also contribute throughout the software lifecycle (design, review, development, testing, build, deployment) and conduct gap, data, and impact analysis. The ideal candidate will possess strong front-end skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3), experience with NodeJS, ReactJS, PHP/Drupal, RESTful APIs, and database optimization techniques. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and TDD is also required.

About the role:

Software Development engineers are skilled in solving various technical problems by effectively leveraging collaborative platforms in an ecosystem.

This opportunity allows one to independently implement diverse and complex engineering tasks through analytical thinking and problem-solving.

Software Development Engineers will get to exhibit a deep understanding of the end-to-end software life cycle and show high levels of collaboration, customer centricity and effective communication to understand requirements, analyse, provide support, deliver technical results and drive excellence.

Key responsibilities:

Software Development Engineers are responsible for maintaining the quality & timeline for the project
Effectively breakdown & delegate parts of the project to the developers
Identify issues proactively and find solutions
Mentor and guide Team Members to enhance their learning and skills in Drupal.
Handle client relations
Be part of the requirement gathering exercise
Ensure adequate documentation and provide assistance as a reliable engineer to all stakeholders at Enphase.
Independently perform low-level design configuration, code customization, refactoring, and review.
Gain expertise and demonstrate high levels of skills in the design, review, development, testing, build, and deployment stages of the software life cycle.
Responsible for implementing diverse engineering tasks including gap, data, and impact analysis.

Professional Skill Requirements:

5-7 years of experience with NodeJS, ReactJs.
3+ years of production experience with PHP/Drupal
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for frontend development.
Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of multilingual site
Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and database optimization techniques.
Proficiency with Git and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in deploying solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other Cloud Infrastructure solutions like Pantheon/Acquia.
Should have Knowledge of decoupled or progressive decoupled application
Knowledge of performance optimization of high-traffic web application
Expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD), including unit, integration, and functional tests.
Experience in tuning web applications for high performance and scalability.
Knowledge of AlpineJs is a plus.
