Sports Account Executive/Partnership Manager, Scripps Sports (Las Vegas)

In this hybrid role, you'll sell linear, digital, and sponsorship solutions for championship teams like the Vegas Golden Knights and Las Vegas Aces. You'll create compelling partnership opportunities that connect brands with passionate sports fans across multiple platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Independently prospect regional and national accounts to create and sell sponsorship/advertising solutions utilizing our acquired league and team controlled sports inventory
• Develop customized partnership packages that leverage the excitement around Las Vegas's championship sports franchises
• Build strategic relationships with brands looking to connect with Golden Knights hockey fans and Aces basketball supporters
• Attend internal meetings to establish strategy and revenue goals and participate in weekly sports division meetings
• Serve as trusted advisor with clients, providing best-in-class customer service and creative partnership solutions
• Perform client services including media negotiations, presentation preparation and execution
• Entertain prospective and existing clients at sporting events to strengthen relationships

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• BS/BA in related field required, or equivalent experience
• Generally 5+ years of sports-related experience required
• Driving required. Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits
• Travel required up to 25%

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Demonstrated record of success in sports partnership sales
• Passion for sports, particularly hockey and basketball
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office and customer relations software
• Strong influencing, selling and upselling skills
• Ability to present and negotiate with confidence and professionalism
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding presentation abilities across all formats and audience sizes
• Highly self-motivated and goal focused approach
