The Distribution Account Manager will be the primary sales contact and business development lead for Distribution partners in Australia and New Zealand. This role involves close collaboration with various departments like Sales management, marketing, and customer service to ensure a top-notch customer experience. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, managing distribution programs and promotional initiatives, production/demand forecasting, order management, conducting partner trainings, collecting market intelligence, and driving product improvements. The role requires managing day-to-day communications, reviewing forecasts and order backlogs, gathering and managing partner TAM data, communicating corporate information, coordinating marketing campaigns, resolving customer issues, and gathering market intelligence.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-10 years of sales experience, preferably in solar
  • Experience managing wholesale distribution partners or OEMs
  • Experience with independent dealer networks and electrical wholesale distributors
  • Strong computer skills, including experience in MSOffice, Excel and Salesforce.com
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

About the role
 
The Distribution Account Manager will be a primary point of sales contact and business development for named Distribution partners in Australia & New Zealand. The Distribution Account Manager will work closely with Sales management, marketing, field applications, customer service, logistics, IT and finance to ensure a best-in-class customer experience. He/she will be responsible for achieving sales targets by account as set by the Company. The Distribution Account Manager will manage all distribution programs and promotional initiatives and all aspects of account management. Key responsibilities include production/demand forecasting, order management, internal and external partner trainings, and collect market intelligence and drive product improvements.    
 
What you will do 
  • Manage day-to-day communications with Partner 
  • Weekly and monthly reviews of forecast and order backlog with Partners 
  • Gather and manage partner TAM and share data forecasts to ensure coverage and share capture goals are achieved 
  • Manage corporate communication to customers regarding pricing, new products and marketing programs, etc. 
  • Help to set, message and deploy Enphase sales strategy 
  • Coordinate marketing/promo/share gain campaigns, with Marketing and Sales 
  • Drive Customer/ partners issue resolution, in cooperation with Customer Services and Operations 
  • Liaise with Product Management to solicit partner feedback for product improvements 
  • Be a conduit for market intelligence from installer partners 
  • Travel (20-40%) to partners, regional shows, and events   
  • Maintain accurate records of customer communication in CRM 
  
Who you are and What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 5-10 years sales preferably with experience managing wholesale distribution partners or OEMs in the solar industry 
  • Proven successful experience working with an independent dealer network, Wholesale distribution, and electrical wholesale distributors. 
  • Experience working with construction contractors, or Electricians a plus 
  • Strong computer skills, including experience in MSOffice, Excel and Salesforce.com 
  • Flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to work in a dynamic fluid environment 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; team player attitude 
  • Ability to work independently, and be self-motivated 
  • Ability to prioritize time well to deliver consistently against stated objectives
