Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Wrike, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, establishing relationships and identifying their needs. Your responsibilities include following up on inbound leads, understanding buyer personas, conducting research on prospects, and personalizing outreach. You'll persuade prospects to meet with Account Executives and qualify them to improve conversion rates, routing qualified opportunities for further development and closure. You'll work closely with other SDRs and Marketing to refine messaging and contribute to the team's success. This role is crucial in supporting marketing efforts and driving sales growth. The position requires being open to supporting Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours, typically from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Must have:
  • Eagerness to learn and excel in Sales.
  • Full fluency in English.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • 1+ years’ experience in Sales Development or similar B2B role
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated success in reaching monthly and quarterly targets
  • Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Strong work ethic and a ‘Can Do’ attitude

As the Wrike Sales Development Rep, you would be the first point of contact for our potential customers. You will establish the relationship and identify their needs to determine the opportunities that meet the qualification criteria for a sale.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • By supporting marketing efforts by following up on inbound leads and inquiries.
  • By understanding our buyer personas and the needs/“pains” of your market.
  • By conducting research on the prospect and their organization and leveraging thoughtful personalization in your outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
  • By persuading prospects to have a call or take a meeting with a Wrike Account Executive.
  • By qualifying prospects to help improve conversion rates from Discovery Call to Opportunity.
  • By routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Account Executives for further development and closure.
  • By using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove, and Salesforce.
  • By working closely with other SDRs, Senior Sales Executives, and Marketing to improve and perfect our messaging.

You will achieve your best if you have

  • Eagerness to learn and excel in Sales.
  • Full fluency in English
  • The candidate must be open to supporting Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours. The typical working hours for this role will be from 8 AM to 5 PM EST. Flexibility may be required to accommodate business needs and team collaboration.

The range above reflects the pay scale that Wrike reasonably expects to pay for the role. The pay scale will also depend on various factors, such as job duties and requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Pay scales are reviewed each year.
