Job Description

Nine, Australia’s largest locally owned media company, is seeking a passionate Sales Executive. This role involves driving revenue, cultivating client partnerships across Nine's diverse media portfolio (Broadcast, Digital, Publishing), and delivering exceptional service. You will achieve revenue targets, develop strategic sales plans, manage advertising campaigns, and foster client relationships. The position requires proven sales experience in media or agency environments, strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Must have:

Job DescriptionAre you a passionate media professional with a talent for building strong relationships? We're looking for a Sales Executive to drive revenue, cultivate client partnerships across our diverse media portfolio, and deliver exceptional service within a fast-paced, high-performing team!

Day to day you will:

  • Achieve revenue targets and develop strategic sales plans for your assigned territory.
  • Be a Nine brand ambassador, building strong market presence and client relationships.
  • Master Nine's diverse product suite (Broadcast, Digital, Publishing) for integrated solutions.
  • Cultivate and grow existing accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Manage multiple advertising campaigns from brief to execution, ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Lead, manage, and guide a direct report, fostering their growth and performance.

QualificationsWhat you'll bring:

  • Proven sales experience in media, client marketing, or agency environments.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, essential for building strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Solid understanding of digital media, coupled with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team while also working autonomously.
  • An understanding of the data landscape and/or programmatic media skills (desirable).
