This contract position focuses on supporting and coordinating content for Nintendo Switch Online and My Nintendo programs. Responsibilities include managing content for various platforms (website, marketing channels), collaborating with cross-functional teams (creatives, product managers, legal), ensuring on-time and error-free publishing, and driving content quality and performance. The role requires experience in digital content coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and a strategic mindset to create engaging content for Nintendo fans. Additional tasks include maintaining project records, working on special projects, and improving KPIs to meet business goals.

Team Summary: Within the Digital Marketing department, the CRM/Loyalty team is comprised of four functions – E-mail Marketing, Nintendo Switch News, My Nintendo and Nintendo Switch Online (NSO). We strive to develop relationships with our consumers through direct-to-consumer communication and other programs that lead to long term consumer engagement and value. Responsibilities of our team include:
  • Strategy, planning and execution of our direct-to-consumer e-mail communications.
  • Content planning and creation for the on-device Nintendo Switch News channel.
  • Management of the My Nintendo program and continuous development of new loyalty initiatives to drive Nintendo Account creation and value.
  • Management of Nintendo Switch Online ongoing operations and driving the program’s business objectives, priorities, and execution

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
  • Provides support and coordination of content for the Nintendo Switch Online and My Nintendo programs including – but not limited to – the Nintendo Switch Online direct-to-consumer marketing channel, My Nintendo website, loyalty program rewards, My Nintendo promotional events and sweepstakes, and general Nintendo Account initiatives.
  • Day-to-day operations and tasks involved with preparing consumer-facing content on Nintendo Switch Online direct-to-consumer marketing channel, My Nintendo website (i.e. News/Notification, Reward Pages, Mission details, etc.) to ensure on-time and error-free content publishing
  • Collaborate with creatives (copy, design, videos), product managers, localization, legal, QA to drive high quality contents that are on brand, error-free, and in alignment with the strategic direction.
  • Coordinate the content delivery from start to finish.
  • Own your content quality, performance, and timely delivery
  • Create mock-ups for legal and stakeholder review.
  • Register contents via CMS.
  • Think strategically to find opportunities to improve KPI and meet business goals
  • Maintains records of communications/documents related to various active, inactive, and completed cross-departmental projects.
  • Coordinates and works on special projects and other duties as assigned.
 

 
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 3 years of digital content coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills and keen eye for details
  • Strategic mindset to determine appropriate content that will bring smiles to Nintendo fans
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent PC Skills (Microsoft365, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and a variety of CMS platforms.
  • Awareness of Nintendo’s franchises and intellectual properties.
  • Japanese language ability – (written and verbal) a plus
  • Knowledgeable about creative production process and deliverable specs
   
  Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
    

** This is a CONTRACT position 

   

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. 

   

This contract position has a base pay range of $27 - $34 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency. Agency benefits may include medical, dental and vision, 401(k), basic/supplemental life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, health and dependent care spending accounts, transportation benefits, employee assistance program, paid sick leave, and up to 6 paid holidays per year. All benefits are subject to elections, eligibility requirements, plan and program terms. Benefits offerings will be confirmed at the time of offer by the employing agency, and may differ depending on the employing agency partner.
