The CRM Specialist will be responsible for driving impactful CRM campaign strategies to enhance engagement, retention, and reactivation. The role involves identifying and addressing workflow gaps, designing and implementing campaigns via email and push notifications, and ensuring effective translation of communications. The specialist will collaborate with various teams to develop reporting metrics, engage with the Legal team for compliance, and stay updated on industry trends. The role also includes prioritizing initiatives, defining operational models, and championing automation. This is a contract role with possible extension and possible conversion to a permanent position.
Must have:

Our direct Fortune 500 client is looking for someone to join the Marketing team to drive impactful CRM campaign strategies that enhance engagement, retention, and reactivation.

This is a contract until December 12, 2025 + possible extension and possible convert to perm. The team is located in Mountain View, CA, and the role is fully remote. Onward Search provides benefits for 40 hour work week and weekly paychecks (W2) for duration of the contract.

CRM Specialist Responsibilities: 

  • You'll identify and address workflow gaps, crafting actionable plans to optimize processes.
  • By maintaining a comprehensive view of key lifecycle stages, you'll provide valuable insights into successful strategies and areas for improvement.
  • Take charge of prioritizing initiatives across diverse countries and stakeholders.
  • You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing ad-hoc campaigns and customer journeys via email and push notifications.
  • Your role ensures that all communications are effectively translated, delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Champion efficiency and automation to eliminate manual and redundant tasks across various regions.
  • You'll define operational and support models to seamlessly integrate additional countries into our client's framework.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Management, and Foundations teams to develop robust reporting metrics.
  • These metrics will be designed to provide reliable insights despite limited statistical power in international contexts, ensuring they can be efficiently scaled without manual calculations for each country.
  • Engage regularly with the Legal team to ensure all CRM initiatives comply with varying international regulations.
  • Your vigilance will ensure that all efforts are legally sound and approved.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in CRM and Lifecycle Marketing.
  • Share your knowledge with the team, recommending and implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the market.


CRM Specialist Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience driving customer engagement through email, push, in-app notifications, and SMS.
  • Proven ability to manage CRM program intake, workflow, and the end-to-end execution of complex CRM campaigns involving cross-functional teams (Product Management, Product Marketing).
  • Proficient in enterprise CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Braze) and possesses a solid understanding of basic HTML and email best practices.
  • Adept at designing and executing A/B and multivariate tests to measure impact, analyze results, and derive actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communicator with meticulous attention to detail, capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • A strategic and proactive self-starter with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, consistently exceeding expectations.

  • *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
