We're seeking a performance-driven Lifecycle & Email Marketing Manager who can own, build, and optimize full-funnel customer journeys that turn visitors into qualified legal leads—and keep them engaged. You’ll lead strategy and execution across email and lifecycle touchpoints, blending creative storytelling, testing, and channel coordination to drive measurable growth. This role sits at the intersection of growth, product, and performance marketing, and requires a hands-on leader who can align email marketing strategy to broader business objectives then, build, test, and analyze performance to ensure key objectives are achieved.
What You'll Do
Own Lifecycle Campaign Execution
Plan, develop, and execute email and lifecycle strategies that guide consumers from acquisition and first visit through conversion and re-engagement.
Collaborate with content and creative teams to develop high-converting email copy and CTAs that educate, build trust, and convert visitors into qualified legal leads.
Build drip campaigns and automation flows across user states to support engagement and lead generation, retention, yield optimization to drive consumer lifetime value, and referrals.
Ensure cohesive messaging across email and landing or article pages.
Collaborate with product marketing to amplify the impact of launches, new features, and experiences.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
Build and manage all tracking infrastructure including UTM tagging, lead forms, landing pages, and performance dashboards.
QA all marketing assets (email lists, subject lines, content blocks, links, dynamic fields, and imaging) before launch.
Design and execute structured A/B tests on messaging, send times, segmentation, design, and CTA format.
Monitor engagement and performance metrics and translate insights into testable hypotheses.
Use platforms like Klaviyo, OptinMonster, GA4, and Looker to continuously measure and refine lifecycle flows and user journeys.
Maintain detailed documentation of campaign performance and lifecycle learnings to accelerate iteration and testing.
Build Subscriber Relationships
Develop highly personalized campaigns that deepen engagement and reinforce trust and exceptional customer experience with every message.
Align lifecycle touchpoints with behavioral triggers to ensure timely, relevant communication.
Balance short-term conversion with long-term retention, brand equity and customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, and Content, and Data Teams to map lifecycle strategy to business objectives.
Partner with design, content, and legal to ensure messaging is legally sound, visually compelling, and aligned with our brand voice, business and consumer objectives.
Collaborate with legal marketing and SEO teams to ensure email acquisition practices and flows integrate seamlessly with other marketing channels.
What You'll Bring
3–5+ years in email and lifecycle marketing, ideally in high-volume B2C or lead generation environments.
Experience in consumer segmentation
Understanding of compliance and regulation, particularly in Legal or Healthcare areas of business.
Proven track record of building full-funnel lifecycle campaigns that drive user action and improve retention.
Deep familiarity with A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, across CRM/email platforms.
Experience with campaign analytics, reporting, and lifecycle optimization.
Strong copywriting skills that balance persuasion, clarity, and compliance especially in regulated categories like legal or healthcare.
Ability to manage QA across content, lists, logic, and technical assets with obsessive attention to detail along with ensuring email list cleanliness.
Working knowledge of data privacy laws such as CCPA
Must have the ability to manage partner relationships.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with legal services marketing.
Experience in customer and product led growth environments.
Exposure to Klaviyo, OptinMonster or similar tools and marketing email marketing / automation platforms.
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email editing and troubleshooting or collaborating with developers for solutioning.
Experience with Figma or Canva for light design tasks.
High comfort level in fast-paced, high-volume environments where experimentation and rapid iteration are needed.
